CIRCLES

COLLECTION:

There are some visual elements I return to over and over again, circles are one of them. Circles have a special emotional pull for me.

From a very physical standpoint I love the flow of the movement it takes to create a circle and have long tried to circumscribe that shape which forms our personal space.

From a more cerebral standpoint circles provide a feeling of the unending nature of the world around us; it’s cycles, rebirths and constant movement.

When I’m seeking control this shape appears very geometric, when in the ‘flow’ these appear much more visceral, like organs, eggs or natural forms I see everywhere I look in nature.
