I want to invite people into my artwork, to see value and reward in engaging with slowness in a world of instant gratification.

I am a mixed media artist inspired by colour, form and texture and am predominantly process lead.

I like to find balance within what I choose to control and where the materials take me. My work often explores abstract landscapes, sometimes as a direct response to what I see around me and sometimes my palette becomes highly saturated and evocative of a purely emotional response .

My love of stitch and it’s connotations to ‘women’s work’ sneaks into my practice regularly connecting me to the past and looking to the future.

I strive to bring a sense of place, hope and magic to the viewer.
